Born Tichafa Augustine Matambanadzo in Zimbabwe, Tich Mataz began his broadcasting journey in 1988 on Power FM (then Radio 3). He became a cultural architect — the bridge between global pop culture and African identity across Zimbabwe, South Africa and Botswana.

From Radio Bop to 5FM, from the turntables to television, Tich's voice has been the soundtrack of a generation. Now, he brings that same magnetic energy, wisdom, and style to his podcast — long-form conversations with purpose, power, and presence.
